SMIB Launches In-Branch Water Bill Payment Facility to Enhance Customer Convenience!

The State Mortgage and Investment Bank (SMIB), in partnership with the National Water Supply and Drainage Board, has officially introduced the "Water Bill Payment Facility" across its branch network. This new service allows customers to conveniently make water bill payments, along with other essential transactions, during their visit to any SMIB branch offering greater convenience under one roof.

This initiative is part of SMIB’s broader digitalization roadmap aimed at enhancing customer experience through smart, accessible services. Several additional digital services are scheduled to be introduced in the near future under the strategic direction of SMIB Chairman Mr. Maheel Kuragama and General Manager Mr. Thushara Asuramanne.
